What Does 10 Hours of Photography Coverage Mean?

There are so many photographers out there with countless package options…how are you supposed to choose?! Because I feel strongly that all couples should have as many memories from their day documented as possible, all of my packages include 10 hours of coverage.

What does that really mean?

To me, that means that I arrive about an hour before you get dressed and stay until about an hour after your first dance. Let me break it down a little more for you:

Early in the day: That hour gives plenty of time for detail photos and catching the final touches of hair and/or makeup before you get dressed. Most of the time, brides aren’t looking for pictures of their entire getting ready process because they want the images to reflect their final vision for how they’ll look on their wedding day.

Late in the day: 45 minutes to an hour of dance coverage will lead to a great collection of photos of your guests tearing up the dance floor. As the night goes on, I find that the dance floor is often dominated by the same excited group of people so additional photos can start to become redundant.

You can always customize your wedding package if you want me there earlier in the day or later into the evening. For instance, if you know your crew is going to be all about the dance, extending that time could be 100% worth it! It’s all about finding the perfect fit for your perfect day.
