Minneapolis Wedding | Minneapolis Event Center

John and Jill’s wedding took place on a perfect spring day in Minnesota. I was so excited to wake up to chirping birds and cheerful rays of sunshine - what a great start to the big day for such a special couple! I met the bride at the hotel to start capturing the details of her preparations for the first look and ceremony at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis.

There were definitely a few happy tears in the bridal suite when the girls saw Jill in her dress for the first time - she made a STUNNING bride. She couldn’t wait to get to the church and see her groom!

Her champagne gown with delicate white sequin designs was complemented by the navy and gold color scheme of the day, and the bridal party showed up to make the bride and groom look even better! They were so sharp - and so were their senses of humor! My fantastic second shooter Jules and I had a blast with the whole group - they were a perfect mix of sass and mischief to keep us on our toes all day!

The Minneapolis Event Center provided a stunning setting for a classic reception with plenty of personal touches from the bride and groom. I couldn’t get over the Minnesota and Wisconsin pastries on their dessert table, their adorable guest book, and Jill and John’s touching first dance!

I don’t think I could possibly do justice to how perfectly paired and fun these two are, so I’ll just say this: John’s gift to his bride included cheese curds. Enough said.
