In-Home Photo Sessions

Choosing a location for your photo session can be an overwhelming process! I'm always happy to provide suggestions, but I also like to ask my clients to think about places that have meaning to them, spots that might match a certain aesthetic they're looking for in their images, and distance from their home so they don't need to travel too far to get there. Sometimes the perfect solution is their home itself!

How do home sessions work? Don't worry, your house doesn't need to look like it's fresh out of the pages of a glossy design magazine - just tidy those areas with beautiful natural light and we can always pick up a little more as we go! We'll be sure to confirm what areas of the home you're comfortable using for photos, and we'll check out the backgrounds and lighting to find the best fit.

You might love your cozy little home but know that there isn't great natural lighting to work with - that doesn't mean a home session isn't possible. What do your outdoor spaces look like? Do you have a charming front porch or beautiful landscaping in the back? These are also great options for photos!

Protip: Air BnB/VBRO/etc. rentals can also be a great option! Just be sure to confirm with the owner when renting the space that they approve it being used for a photo session - it might be the perfect way to find the ideal space for the look you want to achieve!
