When I had my first call with Paige and Tim, I knew instantly that they were going to be just about the loveliest couple ever…and, when we met for their engagement session last winter, they proved it! It was my first shoot since the birth of my son and I hadn’t been out of the house much; it was only a few weeks since his arrival and, while I had been happily snapping pictures of him left and right, I didn’t realize how much I needed to get out with my camera and spend time with adults who could follow instructions, offer opinions, and share stories about non-baby related topics for a little while. Thank goodness for these two! We had so much fun in the snow and they got me out of my shell when I needed it most! Needless to say, I was awaiting their summer wedding with GREAT anticipation. :)

It may have been one of the hottest days of the year, but you’d never guess it when looking back on their photos! Erickson Farmstead was, as always, an incredible venue to make their wedding day dreams a reality! Paige looked incredible in her customized gown, Tim and the guys were ready for the heat of the day in their vests and suspenders (seriously, it was the perfect day to NOT be wearing a suit coat!), and their family and friends were there to support them every step of the way.

Even though they decided to do a first look before the ceremony, that didn’t mean Tim wasn’t still in for a surprise when the ceremony began - Paige made a special entrance to the wedding in a horse drawn carriage thanks to Smith Carriage Company! It was so much fun to be in on the secret beforehand and to get to work with Ben and Nicole again!

Evening festivities began with an incredible meal straight from the food truck (how cool is that?!), toasts that left all the guests in stitches, a packed dance floor, and - I couldn’t possibly forget - toilet paper favors! Everyone needs love and a little TP these days. ;)
